Break the eggs into a large bowl. Add the milk, salt, ground turmeric, ground cumin, fresh coriander, melted butter and onion.
Whisk all the ingredients together using a fork or whisk.
Heat the oil in a pan. Do not have the heat too high. Dip each slice of bread into the eggy mixture and place it carefully in the pan. Cook for about 3 minutes or until brown on one side, then turn the bread over and brown the other side.
