Put the flour, salt, ground turmeric, bicarbonate of soda, ground cumin and yogurt in a bowl. Mix well with enough water to make a smooth, slightly thick flowing batter.
Stir in the onion, tomatoes and coriander.
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Make sure the heat is not too high. Pour in some of the batter until the bottom of the pan is covered. Cook the pancake for 2-3 minutes until brown.
Turn the pancake over and cook the other side. Put the pancake onto a plate and cook the others in the same way.
Remember: Always ask an adult before you start cooking. Take care when using knives and hot cookers.
